For the last 9 months, Karma Mobility has been focusing on the new security concerns that the new regulatory climate in the U.S. is creating among internet users. The culmination of our focus and engineering is our new Karma Black product that begins shipping on January 15th 2018. We believe that this is our best product ever and, if early pre-orders are any indication, many of you feel the same way.

Security and protection are core to the needs of users who, when surfing the internet, project their identity and behavior across the world on a network where they longer have the right to expect privacy. The legacy equivalent would be carrying on all phone conversations on a huge party line where anyone can listen, record and trade the details of your calls. The last few months have seen massive changes in corporate rights over personal privacy and, if the trends continue, will mean the end of some services as we know them and a permanent loss of any kind of identity security. With Karma Black, who you are, what you are doing and even where you are become information cloaked from unauthorized surveillance.

Karma was founded on the idea of the social growth of a network designed for people. With the ability to share WiFi bandwidth with anyone, Karma has always been one where the individual customers literally create the network that is the largest asset of the company. The more customers, the larger the network, the broader the coverage… and so on. It is a great way to build a product / network and Karma continues to believe in those ideas.

Karma has joined forces with other companies with those same core values. TrackR is a great example of a company using true social networking to provide an ever-growing area of coverage to provide findable solutions for their customers. Use TrackR and your phone to find everything…including peace of mind. Can’t find the keys? Press the ring icon in your TrackR app and if your TrackR is within Bluetooth range it will keep ringing until you find it. Every TrackR doubles as a phone finder. Just press your TrackR and it will make your phone ring loudly — even when it’s on silent. Still can’t find it? Out of Bluetooth range? Not to worry. With the app running in the background, you can see on a map where and when you last had it. Expand your search party with Crowd Locate. Rely on TrackR’s global network of users to help you find what’s lost. When a TrackR app user passes by your lost item, the app sees it and automatically sends you a private, secure and anonymous location update.

It is another great example of the creation of a physical social network providing protective services to participating customers. Karma is so impressed, we have started selling TrackR bravo and TrackR pixel on our website to be attached to our devices in case our customers KarmaGo or Karma Black is misplaced or lost.
